Default Leveling kit question

Hi I've got an 07 ram 1500. I put a 2.5 inch leveling kit in it. My buddy has sand truck with same leveling kit and his sits truly level and squats a little bit when driving. Looks mean. Mine did not get a true level. Mine is about .5 inch shy still, what would cause this? It's annoying the crap out of me. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks!!

What Fast said. Mine's 1/2 inch low in the front too. The important thing is that it keeps from bottoming out on ruts and heavy bumps.

Most trucks aren't 100% level.
Usually there is a 1/4"-1/2" rake still present
I think it looks better

The only way I've been able to level my truck was with an adjustable strut. But I'm going to be upgrading to a full lift soon enough.
