Default wheels and tires or lift kit first?

I need some opinions. I have a 2wd 2011 dodge ram 1500 sport regular cab. I dont know weather to get new wheels and tires first (wrangler duratracs 285/60r20) or get the cst 4 inch lift kit for 2wd trucks first. Any suggestions....

I'd do wheels and tires first. Otherwise when you lift it your stock wheels and tires will look really small.

New wheels maybe, but unless you will be satisfied with that size of tire after your lift then you are gonna spend money on new tires that will look too small after lifting it. I would just save money until you can do lift, wheels and tires at same time.

With that being said, I personally installed in 35x12.50s on my truck with just a leveling kit and drove it that way for a couple months until I could afford a 6" RCX kit. The 35s ended up looking good with my 6" lift so I kept it that way. So, if you've seen a truck with 285/60's and a 4" lift and like how it looks go ahead and get the wheels and tires first until you have money for the lift.
