Default Driver's Side Headlight Keeps going out

The other day I noticed that my driver's side headlight on my 2011 Dodge Ram 4X4 was out. I bought a new H11 and replaced it. I noticed that the connector going to the lightbulb looked pretty burnt (getting too much current)??. I installed the new bulb and it worked for about a day. Is this a relay issue? Has anyone else had issues like this? My wife and I will be taking a trip in a few weeks and I really need to get this fixed.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Did you put stock replacement bulb back in? If so your good, its a dealer item fix. Non-stock Mopar bulbs aren't covered. But the wires shoundn't be burn't.

Did you touch the glass with your bare hands when installing the bulb? I've noticed that if you get oils from your fingers on the bulb they burn out really quickly. It recommended that you use gloves or not touch the glass. This may not be your problem though if the harness looks burned.

Do any of the headlight wires look pinched or bare causing the wire to short out when it comes in contact with metal?
