I did the update when people first posted it on the forum. I haven't had any issue yet. Is this issue happening as soon as they update it performed? or is everyone eventually going out to their truck one day and having a dead battery issue? Just curious cause Its been a few weeks updated now and knock on wood so far so good.

My issues were gradual. For example, the "vehicle phone requires service" error just started displaying last week.

In all fairness it could be unrelated to the update but it would be a big coincidence.

It seemed like a week or week and a half for me before my battery just completely quit after the update. I'd think it depends how often you've been starting your truck... e.g. don't crank her for two days and see what happens...

My battery dying issue was the very next day.

Like I said in previous posts though, pulling the battery for a few minutes seemed to reset whatever was messed up. My dealer is going to replace the head unit though. Not sure how they're going to work the NAV upgrade I got thrown in... I tried to get them to do the AN instead but they said that have to order a one for one part....
