As stated above, Iron X is a spray that will remove the fallout/contaminants...

id polish and seal your truck with Optimum OC 2.0 after claying and Iron X'ing the truck. this will make the cleaning easier...

Great post here.. I searched this issue as I noticed these same spots on my Silver 2009 Ram.. I guess its time to experience some clay bar and waxing action myself...

It actually comes from rust on your breaks. When you start driving aftrr the truck has been parked then you hit the breaks all that rust gets sucked up from the air passing down the side of the truck and lands all over. But you will probly notice it wont be up high on the body. Usually below the door handles because the breaks are low to the ground
