I tow my buddies 28' enclosed trailer with his dirt latemodel race car in it on the weekends. I think it was over 10,000 fully loaded. These pictures are of my 96 3500 I had.

But the heaviest I have towed would have to be the house I helped move. it was estimated to be 60 tons.

I have used my 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Van with my custom built drag racing transmission to pull dock pilings out of the ground, ripped out 3 of 4 pilings. The 4th piling had to be removed by a company after the tow truck driver (got stuck in the mud, but nice man in a chevy came and gave me a tug out)(got to get posi) tried to pull it out only to have the steel cable snap three times. I drove the van 360 miles back to SC where about a couple months before I had towed my 32' travel trailer, I was able to test out the new suspension system I installed. 2300 lb springs worked great with my trailer that has a 800 lb tongue. Not bad for a little 318. All in all within a couple month period I drove from FL to NJ, drove in NJ for a month, then drove back to FL with my fat mother, fat grandmother, fat rottweiler, and 245lb self towing a 12' U-Haul loaded with my grandmothers crap weighing in around 6000lbs, changed oil and filter, drove in FL for a couple weeks, then drove up to SC, towed a 32' trailer in SC, then drove back to FL pulled pilings, then drove back to SC. Lol I been driving this thing all over, IT WILL NOT DIE, especially with all the money I put into it. Very versatile vehicle, I love it, building a 420HP, 425ft-lb torque engine for it.

Just one fat circus midget shy of 10k on an almost 3000 mile trip. IIRC it was 9853lbs enclosed trailer (985lb TW was almost exactly 10%). These '13 2500s are awesome! Not at all disappointed that I didn't get the 3500 this time.
This was not a typical load for me though. Just once in a blue moon type of a thing. Typically, my truck's capabilities are far more than I need, but I love having it if and when I need it!

My tow is not as dramatic or colorful. Our new TT is 28' and loaded for travel weighs in somewhere north of 6500 lbs. probably more like 7K. My Ram tows it very well, even with 3:55 gears.

The only thing I haul around are my detailing/waxing products. But by now, this has to be at least 500 lbs. worth.

So far, 6K has been my max.

Probably the limit of what I would want to tow with a half ton RCSB.

7ooo lbs with weight distribution and rear spring air bags handled it like a champ.
