My recommendation would be to check all the front end parts to see if they are all within specs and then check your wheels and tires, including tire pressure. Your truck should have the new style tie rod kit already installed although there has been some problems even with the new tie rod kit. There is a TSB about "Death Wobble". If someone tells you that they have found one single cure for all death wobble I'd recommend you get another opinion cause it just ain't true. Make sure whatever you do cures the problem, and does not just mask it.

I agree ^^^ I had an issue like/similar to Death Wobble but I had the front end replaced with a 3500 Ram... and I have NO lift kit just a 2" spacer in the front to level out the truck...

I had the Truxx 2" leveling kit on my 2006 2500 4x4 for years - did lots of off road stuff but never had to pee myself :-) No death wobble or anything like that - I did have the alignemnt done when they were installed and thats it.

I am surprised not to see more posts on this topic? I have a 2004 ram 2500 with the Hemi. The suspension is stock no lift or leveling kits installed. The truck only has 74K miles on it. I have replaced the original tires at around 60k with a set of BFG all terrain tires that are a little lager then the original but not much. I had a slight vibration at high speed when you hit a bump in the road or more frequent passing over a bridge. I took it to a local shop as the truck is out of warranty now and they did an front end alignment to factory specs. Now I have the death wobble? I had a similar experience when the truck was only a year old and I took it to the dealer and they replaced almost every front end part there is to replace about $2800.00? But it was under warranty at the time. I thought at that time that it was strange so much could have been wrong with the front end with so few miles less then 20K at the time. But now that the wobble is back I am seeing much posted on the World Wide Web about this Wobble and I need to fix it yet again. All front end parts seem to be in good working order and the steering box only has a slight or minimal play or movement. Any recommendations would be helpful. Thank you

I've got a 2004 2WD 1500 with a 3" supreme suspensions (top gun customs) leveling kit with the longer procomp shocks and have no vibration issues.
