Default Need help finding fuse

I popped a fuse that feeds the running lights on my trailer. I checked the owners manual but cannot find the correct fuse. The brake and turn signals work, so it is not that fuse. Can someone please help me locate the right fuse?

Does the manual show you where the fuses are? I have only had my truck for 2 weeks and haven't looked for them yet.

In your engine bay, you will find the fuse box, under the cover is the list of what all the fuses are for. Also, if you want at the top of this thread is a "sticky" it has a link to the wiring of your truck, go to the site and search for the wiring for the trailer connector, in that wiring it will list the fuse its connected to.

Also, if your a supporting member you can ask Ramtech here for the information.

I have a 2012 so the fuse may be different

Thanks for your help. I found another post where you gave a link to Chrysler wiring diagrams. I used that awesome link to download a diagram and found the fuse. It was in the power distribution box in the engine bay, number 29. The way Dodge described the function on this fuse was what confused me. I got it fixed and on the road. Thanks again.

Do you have a part number for this fuse? I popped the same fuse, but cannot find it at any local parts store.

Any idea what caused this fuse to blow in the first place?
I do tow a bit, boat, sled trailer, utility trailer so I am wondering if it was something you do or if it is a common thing with these Rams?

Any info from anyone else who has had this happen would alos be appreciated.

Thanks

My fuse blew because I had a loose wire on a running light on my "brand new" boat trailer.

After hours of searching I finally found the OEM maker of the fuses, but so far I can't find any distributors. Ironically I work for the government in QA on fuses among other things. I left some messages with my contacts at Cooper Bussmann and Littelfuse to see if they have anything comparable and readily available. I also left a message with the OEM Pacific Engineering Corporation to see if they have local distributors or if they only provide to corporations...like Dodge.

I guess I'm hoping to find some in bulk so I don't have to run to the dealer and get one for $4 everytime, especially when they have to order it too.
