Wow you guys have no clue lol first off the rims are not plastic clad they are brushed aluminum all the way through not like the 20's with the clad rims. And the interior is different with the shifter and yes all the bells and whistles the torque converter the better gears and the beefed up suspension.

So when i bought mine there were 8 expresses sitting next to it did i buy an express nope got mine for maybe 6k more then express was it worth it yes.

least i know i have a real one not a poser with a fake badge stuck in the grill so ya get your fact straight if you were to buy the express add all the stuff an r/t has you would pay alot more then the sticker price on an r/t

And where the f did you guys get the idea the rims were cladded i laugh at this

^Hope that wasn't at me bud lol.

I know every difference in the RT (except for maybe the specifics of the technology stuff like radio, etc).

I don't think anyone's stupid for buying an RT, but just for me personally I really don't care at all about 95% of the extra stuff the RT comes with. The only things I'd want are the gears and converter. Much of the other "upgrades" I'd actually prefer not to have as I mentioned above.

As for a poser, I wouldn't say my express(if I had one) was an RT, because it wouldn't be. Doesn't change the fact that it's essentially the same truck, just not a real RT(not that I care).

I don't know what a 8.4 touchscreen, IP cluster, or 7" TFT display are. My SLT has the nicest radio I've ever had in a car with cd/sirius satellite radio/aux input(and I think it's the "worst" radio they offer). 4.10 gears and the converter yes I'd like to have, but not for the price tag.

I don't even like the sport APPEARANCE hood either, looks good on the cars but personally think it looks a bit odd on the truck. I also don't like leather. The cloth and vinyl are nice, the vinyl is actually REALLY nice looking, I wish I had it in my SLT instead of the cloth.

I'm not usually a fan of large wheels, but I do like the 22" wheels, they are sharp, but tires are surely pricey...
To each their own, that's why they make different ones!

An express was around 22,000 I paid 26,000 for my R/T and people are selling the R/T rims for up to 3,000 then after market gears 2,500 tc another 1,000 and you still are not even close to all the stuff of an R/T

FWIW it is possible to get an express for under $20k. You can get 3.92's and it's nearly the same as having 4.10's. Even if you swap aftermarket gears it can be done for ~$750. The express 20" wheels aren't bad either. TC is more like $500 if you install yourself. Like said above, all depends on what you want. I actually prefer the dual headlights over the quads(maybe I'm just used to them I dunno). My buddy's RT is a nice truck and is fast, but my brother's express is just as nice IMO in a less sophisticated but more realistic way and just as fast(butt dyno, anyway).

the 22s are made by Alcoa, how much are they selling for? don't hold me to it since I didn't weigh them..but they actually felt lighter than the 20" steel cladded ones on my 10 R/T. I still have that set so eventually I will weigh them out. My 13' R/T came with the RA4nav, projecters, auto high beam control, keyless entry, rain sensitive wipers, heated seats, heated steering wheel, remote start with security, power heated tow mirrors, rear back up camera, power pedals...some may call that bells and whistles LOL but I rather enjoy it. Hard to find a RCSB loaded like that which is all I need for a daily and the type of work I do. $36,800 msrp...$32,000 out the door and never looked back. Yes they may look like an Express but that's about it....
