correct the iat sensor is between the air filter and the throttle body.

i cleaned the throttle body and that helped the idling issues .. but i still have the pcode 0113 comming up. i bought a new sensor and that didnt help . ive never touched the wiring what else can i do to fix it ??

Check the harness and connector as I mentioned before. Look for worn down wires, shorting out, loose wires at the connector, etc. Other than that I'm not sure.

Thanks i will try that ..would pvc sensor make it not start when its cold?

I'm not sure what a pvc sensor is....

There is a pcv valve. It wouldn't effect this though.

It's not a sensor, just a one way check valve that allows pressure buildup in the engine crankcase to vent out. It vents into the intake and is burned in the combustion process(emissions).

A clogged pcv valve can cause a few issues but the truck should start and run, this won't effect that.
