i have the mds on my 5.7 i really dont notice it, it doesnt make a difference in my truck

is 05 the only year that they made the srt 10? sounds dumb, but that's the only ones that i've seen in person.

The MDS engine is a whole different animal. It uses an oil control solenoids to lock and unlock the lifters on 4 cylinders of the engine. Newer 5.7's also have variable valve timing.
