Default Rear Brake locking up

i have a 97 1500 with a 5 spd trans. I did the rear brakes and new hardwear and seals. I have a prob with the right side wheel locking up every now and then when I brake. It hasnt happeaned in the last few weeks. I took the drum off to see if it was damp in there and it was dry. I was curious if any one eles has had the same problem.

Are the shoes installed correctly ? Did you resurface the drums ? Are the shoes adjusted correctly ? Just a couple of questions . If your not sure , take a picture of the brakes and post them and I'll take a look at them .

I have the same problem. I was just going to convert over to disc all the way around. Interested in seeing where this thread goes.

Sounds like you may have some condensation causing some light surface rust to form on the friction surface when it sits overnight.
