Default Rough country lift

I just ordered my 6 inch kit for my 07 and was wondering if anybody was running the kicker bars and if they are worth it. Have not ordered them yet. Also is a35 a good size tire for this kit? I run 20x12 wheels with -13 offset

Kicker bars just mount from the rear front cross member back to another point on the frame for added strength. They're recommend for more offroad use. People that mainly drive them on the street put them on more for looks. It might be a good idea to have them as peace of mind.

35's look okay on a 6" lift IMO. But you can go to 37's. That's more typical.

Now the big one.... you have 12" wide wheels with only -13 offset? Are you running them now? That's only 5 7/8" backspacing. People running 12.5 wide tires on 9" wide rims are going with 5" or 4.5" backspacing. That is on 4th gens however but I don't really see how a 5 7/8" back spacing is going to work on a 3rd gen.....

Haha, okay! That makes more sense! Then you shouldn't have any problems.

They will show underneath a little bit and yes, kind of do look like torsion bars. They will be in essentially the same place as the torsion bars, just further in to the middle of the truck. Check out Ram725's build thread. He has them installed with his 6" RCX lift.
