Default Capital 1 lowers all intrest rates to 4% for active mil.

Hey guys, just a heads up. If you call Capital 1 and are active duty they will lower any interest rate you have to 4%. Credit Cards, Car loans, anything. And they back date it to when you got in the military so you'll get a credit for any intrest/ fees youve payed over 4%. I knew about the Solider sailor act and how its 6% but props to these guys for doing more than they need to. I was just shocked. Good luck!

Thanks to all who are currently active. If I was carrying a balance I would have to call and see if they would lower it for a retiree. I know, wishful thinking.

Just so everyone knows. That is 4% plus Prime, putting it anywhere from 13-15% in actuality. Not a bad deal, but if you have even moderatley good credit you can beat those rates hands down at any number of places.

Ally is offering .9% auto financing
USAA has credit cards in the 9-12% range (including prime)
Wells Fargo (god I hate them) has new auto rates below 2%

Shop around a little!

Yep, I got 2.7 through Ally, and that was through the dealership. Ima give it about 6 months then refinance it through someone else to try to get a cheaper rate..............
