I did the "neutral safety" in a jeep that was about 5 months old and the stealership couldn't figure it out. It's internal above the valve body. Jacksonsnorth finally had it done and hasn't had a problem since (Yes the dealer DID change the Solenoid pack but that didn't solve it) he got them to do the NSS.
As I said. If it is the same as the TRS, it doesn't mean the one they put in wasn't also defective...IF they put it in at all.

Honestly, I'd insist.

I'll take that up with we're ever we take it, once it starts to fail on a regular basis. They won't touch it unless it fails for them. This Is any dealership, at least in my area.

There was a motorcycle ride in my area two weeks ago. I was out in my driveway as a large group was going by. One of the bikers shouted at me that I was worthless! I've got a hunch that he works in the shop of my selling dealership. How's that for service!?

Still continues to miss a start every once in a while, still not enough that any Chrysler dealership will look at it.

The truck has been starting continuously throughout June and July. I won't post again until it fails to start.

It failed to start again yesterday. My wife said it happened to her once last week but she didn't tell me. In both cases putting it into neutral then back in park was the cure.

This happened to come up in conversation today. My wife said the truck hasn't doone this in so long she can't remember when it did it last. The only thing I can attribute it to is the couple of times I re-seated the relays.
