Default 2012 5.7 programer?

Hey picking up my new 2012 1500 hemi tomorrow.
Looking for a programmer. Does anyone make a power and fuel economy model yet? One parts store said only power they can find the other said call you back monday cause they only show the diablo which has no economy setting.

The two options you have are Diablosport Trinity and the Bully Dog GT for Hemi plus. Both are great products and will give you more power, torque, and fuel efficiency. The general consensus on them is that the BD has better canned tunes and the DS has the ability to custom tune. So depending on what you plan on doing for other performance mods you can decide if you need a custom tune or not.

Using the search function of the forum will bring up tons of threads with people discussing this issue. I'd suggest reading through those. They will answer tons of your questions.

Thanks brandon.
I guess the parts store has some wrong info as they said the diablo doesn't do increased fuel economy just adds power.

I believe the DS Trinity does have a specific economy tune. So yes, they are way off. It also depends how you drive the truck too though. Lots of guys end up stomping on it everywhere once the have the added power and torque so that doesn't help with the fuel so much

The Bully Dog also has the driving coach function which really helps you get better MPG

Driving coach sounds neat and goofy thanks for the info!
I've already decided this truck is never seeing mud unlike my other vehicles so it should be easier not to stomp on it.
I also have a sick heavily modded jeep for playing though.

Nice. Sounds like a lot of fun.

If you want to read a bit of a review on the Bully Dog go to my profile and then statistics and to the threads I've started and you'll find it. Might be interesting for you. The pictures I've posted show the driving coach function.
