Default First decent largemouth of the season! Pics

Went pond hoppin yesterday and landed a decent bass. Didn't have my scale but it was every bit of 5/5.5 lbs. Broke my new rod cuz I got all excited and wasn't bein careful about landing it in the boat. Welp, that's what warranties are for!

Hey, Nice fish! I hope to get out by this weekend. One of my customers (work at a marina) just came in today with an 18 pound fluke! Caught it on a whole small squid.

littlegirl- Is that a hammer head? Nice! I have been on a few shark fishing trips here in New York. Twice, we caught 300+ Lb. Makos, and once caught a 200+ thresher. What a blast!

geez typical girl response. "that fish isn't big" there ARE different species of fish with relative sizes that are decent. yes compared to a shark it is small lol. I have a few pics of catching lemon sharks off VA beach...it was fun. And some 168lb halibut in alaska. THOSE are big.
