Default Laramie Fender Flares and Rocker Panels

Hi there, I am trying to source the part numbers for the rocker panel kit (Door and lower panel parts) - I believe I have the MOPAR part for the Fender flares (Wheel Flare Part # 82211720AC).

It appears that the rocker panel kit is made up of 5 pcs per side.
1 pc for each door (2)
1 pc infront of the rear wheel
1 pc behind the rear wheel
1 longer pc below the two doors

DO I just go to the parts counter at the dealership ?

I am looking at dressing up the sides of my truck .. want to keep it close to factory if possible. I believe that the Mopar Fender flares are very close if not exactly on what is on the Laramie. Want to achieve the same for the rocker panels if at all possible. I would think that the pieces would be the correct sizes to work together.

Regards

Are you referring to the chrome moldings on the rocker panels? I have a Laramie and it just has the flares with 2 tone paint have t really seen any thing other than the chrome belt molding

Ditto. Not sure what door panel rocker panels you are referring. My 2013 Laramie is monotone and has fender flares but nothing special along the sides.

Thanks again, just ordered the Mopar Fender Flares .. want to dress up the outside just a bit .. the flares will do it .. got the w2w steps .. plan to use a bit of metalic silver plastidip on the mineral gray fenders .. I believe that will turn it chromish /silverish .. if I dont like it .. I will peel it off .. if it looks good .. I shoot a bit of the plastidip on the lower part of the sides of the truck .. again, if it doesn't look right .. will just remove it ..

Really, the photos make it look like that there are panels attached to the truck !

I'm looking forward to seeing this. I've thought about doing a Plasti-dip Laramie myself.

Hi, trying to find some YouTubes .. or some other web based samples of what the Silver Metalizer from Plasti Dip will look like on my Mineral Gray Metallic color .. as both the truck and the newly purchased fender flares are Mineral Gray in color .. I am trying to achieve a chrome type effect .. to match the bumpers ..

Then I would use the Plasti Dip Glossifier to add a bit shine to it ..

I figure 2 cans of Silver Metalizer and one can of Glossifier ..

Other than chrome .. what would be a suggested complementary color for painting the fender flares and the lower Rocker Panel area of the truck ?
Suggestions welcome ..
TY

If you want chrome to match the bumpers you would do better to get the chrome rocker panel covers. You'll never get that look with the plasti dip. You really need a base coat with the metalizers; they are semi-transparent. They're made to add the metallic flake look to the plasti dip flat colours. Also the metalizers don't peel quite as easily as the colours. The closest you might come to silver/ chrome is gun metal gray with he silver metalizer and then maybe some glossifier.

I bought a few cans to play with a month ago. Tried the silver and the pearl over gun metal, black and white. On my black truck I'm leaning towards the gun metal with pearl. I haven't decided on glossifier or not.

For loads of pics for different combos try he forums ay dipyourcar.
