So my buddy went ahead and dropped his 4x4 with this 2 inch kit

2009-2013 Dodge Ram 1500 Rear 2wd 4wd - Rear Coil Spring Kit (2 Lowering - Levels to Front) [Adds 10% Weight Capacity] - TTC-1210L | $384.95

Does anybody have any feedback on them or have this kits installed on there rigs

It's expensive. You can get Mcgaughy 2" drop springs for a little over 200, and you really don't need new shocks for a 2" drop. KYBs are nice shocks, though.

you can also cut the stock springs for free. this is pretty level with stock shocks.

There are also a few other kits as well. I know ottomax has one.

I used RT springs and cut them for a 1" rear drop. Handles and rides great(maybe better) but capacity is down about 25%+ (although that is partly due just to going to RT springs).

I have an R/T and it sits really high in the rear, I don't think they are any shorter than an express/slt spring. What do I know though...2" rear drop is my next mod for sure.

Yeah an RT basically is same ride height. The reason I chose RT springs to cut is they are progressive rate so have tightly wound coils near the top. This way after cutting, they still sit nearly perfectly flat in the spring pocket.

I cut my r/t springs at first to lower it 2'' it rode the same no difference
