Default Trailer Light Issues

It has been awhile since I have been on here, but I am having an issue with my truck and I need some help. I don't have right turn signal, right tail light, or right brake light. I have checked every fuse there is to check and they are all working. So I then moved to check and see if I was getting power to the 4-pin connection at the back of the truck and I am getting power back there. After checking that, I made sure the male and female connections were clean and getting a good connection and it still isn't working. I have this problem on two different trailers and I am completely loss. Please help!!

I would check the grounds. well on second thought you wouldn't be getting power to the left brake light unless they have separate grounds. Do you get power to all the pins? It may just be the plug if you don't have separate grounds or it could be a loose connection where the plug wires splice into the right taillight and turn signal. Ive had a similar situation with my travel trailer but none of the light worked on it until I went checking my connections and my ground wire had worked its way loose from the where I had grounded it out on the frame. That's just my best guess and hopefully someone else can give you better info.

Check all of the grounds. It might not be a bad idea to remove each one, clean the contacting surfaces with some light sand paper, reconnect them and use some battery terminal spray to coat them. Trailer lights can be a real pain. If you still have issues after that, call around to your local hitch or camper shops, many of them will have testers made just for trailer harnesses. They might be able to point you in the right direction.

It's got to be a ground connection. Considering two of the bulbs affected share common power with the left side the chances of having the same problem on two different trailers is too high.

I had to pull a trailer again the other night and I must have been mistaken. The tail light is working but not the brake or turn signal.

It's still likely the ground, the brake light power is common to both sides, but have you checked the bulb?
