I use Meguiar's Protectant Natural Shine on our two vehicles interior plastic areas and it makes them smell GREAT. Very easy to apply and you don't have to wipe it off with a dry chamie if you don't want to. Best part about it is it doesn't leave a greasy feeling like Armor All does.

Cheap mod that take 15 min to do and keeps your interior nice and clean also.
So do you spray it with Fabreeze?

An ozone generator would neutralize the smell most likely.

No no, there is a Fram filter available that you can use and its got fabreeze.

I had bought the kit from Geno's it comes with a carbon filter, after a year I replaced it and found these fram one's that are carbon + fabreeze.

If you have any leather, and want the "good" new car scent back, I would suggest using these two products from Zaino Bros. Z-9 which is a leather cleaner, and Z-10 which is a leather conditioner. I have no affiliation with Zaino Bros, other than being very impressed with those two products.

I have to agree with ramaries.

If ozone can eliminate strong/difficult to remove odors, such as cigarette smoke, it should almost definitely take care of any other type of odor --at least temporarily, inside your vehicle. There are a few cases where the odor may come back, typically odors that are deeply embedded inside plastics, rubbers, etc., or if the odor is coming from something actually decomposing inside your vehicle like leaves, an animal, etc.

Ask a professional automotive detailer in your area, if they either do, or know of anyone who does, ozone treatments. There are a few health hazards to be cautious of, since ozone is a strong oxidizer. Another hazard, is that if used too many times, or allowed to build up to too high of a concentration in the vehicle's interior, it can oxidize seals, plastics, rubber, etc.

The smell of ozone, is similar that electric smell after a lightening storm. In fact, after a lightening storm, you are smelling the ozone created by lightening. The smell goes away, after the ozone is evacuated from the interior of the vehicle.

Love those Zaino Brothers products, been using them for over 15 years and some of the best products I have used. Adams also have some great products.

I never read all of the psts, but is it possible that someone put something in the door(s) during assembly, like an half uneaten sandwich or something similar?

I have read on here, with some disgruntled employees, anthing is possible?

Sounds like you have the same problem I did; pop the radiator (not the reservoir) and see what it smells like. Read my thread below:

Well to be honest, at the cost of sounding like a newb, I have no clue where to open the actual rad. I would just open the cap that's on the opposite side of the windshield washing fluid cap. I would assume that's just the reservoir.
