Default Which Lights are these?

I just bought a 2011 Ram Sport and its got aftermarket headlights, I just took it out at night for the first time and I noticed that the lights are pointed down a lot, and the light isn't bright at all, So I would like to aim the lights up a bit and if the housing permits is install HID's

This is what I've got to work with

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

those are ebay lights....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SMOKED-09-12...aa11ba&vxp=mtr

look for an adjustment screw around the top of the headlights... park infron of a wall or something and use the screw to adjust... also if not equipped look for some 55w hid lights .. will definatly help

Most headlamps have adjustments in the rear of the headlamp housing, there is a hole in the fender you can look into, you might see an adjustment screw, you might have to remove the headlamp to find it if it is not in the same location that is accessible via the fender hole on top as the OEM ones are located. Once you know where the adjustments are, find a wall with a straight area in front of it. move your truck up to 1ft away from the wall and mark with some tape an + on the wall where your lights are shining. So stick a tape + for each headlight, now move the truck back 25ft and see if your still at the same level, if your lower than the + you made on the wall, then set the adjustment of the headlamp to aim at the same location as when your up against the wall. Do the same for both sides. Also, are you running Halogen bulbs? or HID ballasts and Bulbs? If your running Halogen, you might want to see if the headlamp housing can take HID bulbs and get yourself a Retrofit kit. Hope this helps.

You need to check if your present headlamps will take HID's, Not all do, and many can only take 35watt HID's and not the 55watt so I would do a bit of research, maybe see if you can find a manufacture name on the headlamps you have. You could just take a chance and try some in them, the thing is that if those projectors are specific for Halogen bulbs by placing HID bulbs in them you may get a bad cut cutoff and cause light glare to on-coming traffic. **************** has HID bulbs that the plasma is located at the same point as the filament in a halogen bulb, you might want to try that route. Again, all this trying costs money, maybe you can get lucky and find the manufacture of those and find out they can take HID's. Hope this helps

As for trying, find out what halogen bulb you have in there now, also, maybe other members with theses same lights may have tried them with HID's, check out the complete build section also you might find someone who has those same units.

DDM are said to be good. Retroshop is another good company. Just make sure you get everything that you need for them to work without any problems. Ram HID's will flicker and throw code if not done properly.

The lights look to be the same brand as Spyder. The link that Nemmisis posted even used some of the pictures from Spyder's site.

I just installed similar Spyder halo headlights on my truck. They were very low as well. Took me a minute, but figured out how to adjust them and boy was it a PITA! Here's a link to a youtube video that should help you out. Good luck and have fun. By the way, nice looking truck!
