Thinking of doing true dual flowmaster super 44s. Dont know much about exhaust but is there if any advantage to this rather than doing a si/do mufler? if so what set up should I do? pipe size? muffler? etc. Thanks!

Are you wanting to do a di/do muffler? With no y pipe? Or wanting to run an x or h pipe? Or are you wanting to do pretty much 2 separate exhausts from each manifold?

You'll get the most out of having some sort of crossover some where in the exhaust. I'm not sure if there is any performance benefits to running and x or h pipe over a y pipe. I would suggest replacing the y pipe with a freer flowing one and doing a si/do muffler. That will probably be the cheapest way to go.

As for piping it will depend on the setup you go with. If you do a si/do muffler you'll probably want 3" piping before it and 2.5" after. But again, it all depends on how you set it up.

What you have for performance would determine the most effective way to run your system. For most vehicles with mild mods replacing the factory y-pipe or adding an x-pipe before a separated DI/DO muffler, you'll have the best performance. If you want true dual for the sake of having true duals, well, that's you choice. Going true duals should only really be done if you plan a very short exhaust track. If you do decide to dual it, then you would benefit the most from a cross-pipe between the sides to balance the exhaust pressures between the banks, even if you're not using it for the scavenging effect.

I agree with Cdnoilram, have a friend with a muffler shop, we got talking about a true dual system for Rammona, low and bhold a few hours and 1000 loonies later shes gotta louder smoother bark. 2-1/2" pipes off each cat, 2 independant flo-pro muffs(replaceing that trash can the factory put in.) but kick your tips out at between 30 to45 degrees in front of the rear pass tire. We stagered Rammona's, looks great.
one must though is that equalizer pipe, really makes a big differance.(DONT FORGET) Another must is to open fer lung capacity scince she'll be getting rid of the exaust so quickly you WILL need to add an intake. dont cheap out spend some money on a good one. do your research, find what works best for what you want her to do. Turns out way cheaper in the long run. Rammona is having a love affair with the injen tuned intake system. I recommend this from personal experiance . trc-control going off under accel. is tolerable when you factor in the gas milage without the lead shoes.

if you true dual...cheapest crossover would be an H, which a muffler shop can make for you..this provides the best tq compared to an X...
