Now that you've had these on for awhile, how are they holding up and any additional comments? Also curious how the 3M tape is holding up? I too hate the idea of using screws.
BTW, it appears that some of your install pictures are no longer available. I sure would like to see them if possible, as I just installed the Xtreme tailgate bar and now contemplating the Big Rig Ice bars.
Thank you!

They are doing great! Not one issue with the installation or wiring. They are functioning exactly like I intended them to. The 3M tape is holding strong. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. Only happy things as I love to see them in action and I receive compliments on them on nearly a daily basis.

I did not take any installation pictures, as stated in my original post. I was simply too busy to worry about my camera in addition to getting the install perfect. All I do have is the after the fact video, posted above. I am willing to take pictures of any aspect as they sit installed if you would like.

Hope this helps!

As always, I appreciate your quick response. Glad to hear all is well with the install. Now I have another project to look forward to.

I really like your setup! I might have to order some of those lights myself. If all doors are closed and you turn on the dome light inside the truck, do they switch to white? I'm wondering because it's not rare that one of my passengers or even myself needs to use a dome light while driving down the road and I'm wary of the white underneath the truck while driving.

Awesome lights!!

Thanks for the compliments.
As for your question, I'm pretty sure that if I'm driving and turn on the dome lights that the running bars' courtesy lights will not illuminate. The courtesy light feature is triggered by a door opening. However, you have my curiosity peaked as I have never actually tried testing this. Although I am nearly 100% positive that it will not be the case, I'll give it a test tonight and report back..

Those looks pretty sweet.

I wanted to add some lights down there after installing my running boards.

Many apologies for the delayed reply! I did check on this and was shocked with the results. Like I said, I had never given this any thought as I hardly ever engage my dome lights while driving (I always simply turn on the maps if needed). But yes, the Big Rigs do in fact turn to the white courtesy lights when the doors are closed and the dome light switch is manually turned on. In hindsight, it does make sense that they function this way as they are wired directly into the dome light wire on my truck.. I just never thought of it as I never turn the switch on while driving. Hope this helps!
