Default Top End Improvements What should i do???

Got a 04 2500 5.7 with a 5speed. Currently have sum liffter issues that I,m getting ready to address and was wondering what kind of preformance improvements i could make on the top end while i was their and is their any brand of lifters that are better than others. Any info would be great!
P.S. This rig has a true dual setup off the stock manifolds and thats it for mods. Also my heavy hauler my gooseneck implement trailer weighs 7000lb empty have had up to a 27000lb combined load rollin down the highway so go fast mods aint what im lookin for, lowend and torque is what its all about for me generaly round 18 19000 is what the rollin weight is when im loaded, truck included Thanks Again!

You have to use stock lifters, there are no others avalible.
Im pretty sure you dont have MDS,so make sure you get the right ones when ordering.

LT headers are worth the money,so is a ported throttlebody.85MM s good.
A electric fan worked great on my 2003 2500 Hemi regular cab.
I towed excessive weight like yourself.

Its hard to find LT for a 2500 hemi.
I had custom LT made for my 2003 from KOOKs but sold the motor.
Im pretty sure the guy still has them,PM me if you want me to check.
Cheers Grant.

Since you're in there already you can look at several cheap upgrades that will get you some good power. First would be a cam swap to something like a Comp 260 which is a nice torque cam and would help your bottom end greatly. You don't need to swap springs or pushrods with the 260, so it's just the cam, cam bolt, and crank bolt. I would also pick up an underdrive pulley from summit since you'd have the timing cover off for the cam swap.

As Grant said, a set of LT headers help out on the mid-high rpm, but a set of shorties will help your low end more and you wouldn't have to do much in the way of exhaust changes.
