Default 2003 Ram 1500 Vibration Problem

Hello,
I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Quad Cab that starts to vibrate when I approach 65mph and faster. Smooth ride at lower speeds.
It seems to be coming from the rear of the vehicle because I don't feel it in the steering wheel.

I have put three different sets of brand new tires on (Thanks to 2 different local tire shops trying to figure this out) and have had each set balanced, "load" tested rotated etc. and still same problem.

I just put a new set of rims on, still same problem.

I don't recall hitting anything like a pothole or anything to damage the rear axel. However my wife has driven it occasionaly and I have loaned it to a friend or two (very rarely) so I suppose that could be a possibility.

Any help /suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

It drives me crazy any time I have to drive on the highway.

Balance the wheel on the truck. Some shops have the possibility.
Does it comes with a noise?
Did you checked the hub rotation with free wheel?
And btw - my grandpa used to say: a woman and a car is nothing what you should loan somebody. Not even your best friend ;-)

Possibly a rear bearing?

Mine was doing the same thing, turned out to be the front propshaft UJ at the gearbox end.

check the hub for lateral runout. Also, the hub and/or wheel may have rust on the mounting surface preventing a true 100% flush mount. I work in a tire shop right now and that a really common problem that alot of people over look and dont think about.

If you dont have a Dial Indicator, any major tire shop or trustworthy shop can perform that test.
