Are you certain that trailer is only 21 ft. Looks closer to 31 ft to me. Still, it's sweet rig. Both truck and trailer.

I am running a toy hauler Sandstorm 203 about 24' long and the truck seems to run ok but, dam the gas mileage is only about 8 to 10 mpg. Does any one do much better?? I have 3.55 diff. The average RPM is about 2300 at 65 miles per hour

Alot of the MPG drop is due to aerodynamic drag of larger trailers with big frontal mass.

25000 miles towing my 7500# trailer I have averaged 9.3 MPG. Same 3.55"s and hemi. No problems pulling the highest passes- I live in Colorado. Hook a diesel on this trailer and it would do 12 MPG. The diesel option is $7800.00 so I can buy a lot of additional fuel for the additional milage of a diesel.
