I say install it yourself. I did mine and I work on computers for a living. I got a quote for $140 to have it installed and that motivated me to do it myself.

As far as spending hard earned money on mods don't worry about it. They will come when the time is right. I have had my truck for less than 2 months and have spent 6k so far in mods.

Love the Line-X, WeatherTech mats, and bak flip cover. I couldn't stand the huge lettering on the doors so they're gone.

Hands down do it yourself. One of the easier mods to install just turning a wrench.

I'm going to do it the day I bring the truck home. I'm crossing my fingers that it won't come it at the beginning of one of my 7-9 day work marathons because that would suck. Go in to work before dealer opens and get off after they close!

Get the Linex sprayed first.

Why do you say that? Isn't it easy to remove also? I need the cover for my vacation which will before I can get it sprayed. Do they use tape along with the clamps or something? I was also thinking that I'd only have to remove the tarp for the liner since they cover everything above the caps.

If you have to install rails for the cover to function properly, they will have to be removed before spraying the Linex. I waited to install my BakFlip VP until after my truck was sprayed, because I knew it would have to be completely removed before the Linex was applied.

As long as it comes off easy then it's not a big deal. I'll be on vacation for 5 nights with a 1 year old which means we will be bringing a lot of stuff and all that stuff will need to be in the bed which is why I need this cover bad enough to buy it before my truck is even built.
