Question Heater and Defroster recall

I have a 2009 Deodge Ram...the heater and defoster makes a terrible racket under the consel of my truck. The damper motor seems to be locking up, and one time the defrost locks on or the vent or the heat. Has anyone else had these issues? I looked it up and saw that there was a recall....I never got any notice. Has anyone else had this issue? If so...what was the fix?

If the recall applies to your truck (and I suspect it will), the fix is to take it to the dealer and let them handle it. It won't cost you anything.

Im having same problem w/09 Ram Quad Cab. Blower motor quits on start up, Actuators make noise, I get heat out of one side and AC from drivers while AC is on ??? Winter its just the opposite. Bought this truck used froM dealer a year ago and guess what...... IM .........ed. I ve had it in twice, 2 different dealers, both want $1000.00 minimum to tear dash apart, fix actuators. Love the truck , but its turning into a LEMON. Guess Im tearing into it myself. Thanks DODGE
