Default Mudguards question

I was told today that my truck has shipped so now I might start going post crazy so forgive me. I want some mud guards for the new truck and I was looking at the husky ones. They say they don't fit trucks with factory running boards for the fronts. Why is this? Also, since I got a monotone sport I'm assuming I won't have fender flares correct?

Can anyone recommend good guards for a decent price? I looked at weathertech also but they are $40/pair. Thanks!

i know the mopar ones will fit, all you have to do is switch sides of the running boards to change the offset

You mean switch the drivers side with passenger? Will the pads still line up under the doors that way? My current truck has the same running boards and it looks like plenty of room for the guards.

I have the husky ones with no running boards, I like them.
