Default burning smell..

sup everybody. so im getting this burning smell coming thru the vents when i step on it. like when passing someone quickly. truck is 2012 ram 5.7 hemi and has 870 miles so far. i have never went wide open yet and never had rpms past 5500. so i dont know if this smell is part of the breaking in process or what. it lasts maybe 5-7 seconds and is gone. i have the 18 inch maggie and s&b cai on it. so i dont know if the mods can have anything to do with it. or maybe i just need to open her all the way up. idk. can someone help me out here. thanks.

Wait until that number doubles and it'll most likely be gone. There is no shortage of gloss and grease on these trucks when they're new. It takes time to burn off.

Did you find any solution for it??
