FYI.. One member on here did the JBA shorty swap. He only got 9 h.p. out of them after a custom dyno tune. He regrets spending the money and time on the shorties. The long tubes are the ones that will give you roughly 30+ h.p. and t.q. with no tuning.

ARH long tubes but you still gotta weigh in the gains vs cost imo and i am not sure if its available for the 2500.

Guys, Here's the scoop. The truck is equipped with 20" wheels and a posi unit. I'll get back to you with gear ratio as there is no tag on the rear cover. The dyno sheet is with headers only and then headers and tune. The truck still retains the stock air intake, muffler and tailpipes. We are extremely pleased with the results and expect you'll truly love this system.

To address pricing, those that know ARH can vouch for the quality of our products and how we stand behind them. This system is 100% U.S. made and when you factor in everything that comes with the kit, it's really an awesome deal. The system was designed so that you'll never need to replace it. This includes our high flow cats.

Lastly, the Y-pipe in the system is designed to work with the factory midpipe. This set up will work for nearly all but the most seriously modified applications. For max effort builds, we can easily increase the outlet of the Y-pipe up to 4" which will handle anything you can throw at it, so you have options. If you have any additional questions please let us know. You can reach us at 631-608-1986. Thanks and enjoy the video.

I too looked long and hard before I ordered. Read everything I could find about headers on our trucks. The shorty's looked good and was priced right but everyone said if your going to do it do it right the first time. So I hit the guys up from bully's performance and ordered the ARH long tubes and im glad I did. there nothing short of awesome!!! And they sound amazing!!!

Yup, that sounds like me

Never go through that much trouble again for such a small gain,

ARH LT's get you more than just longer tubes,
You also get a replacement Y-pipe and high flow cats...

If you factor that into your short tube budget the price gap to LT's isn't so far apart anymore.

Guys,
Not to barge in to the conversation, but I was wandering if the ARH ( & which size ) would be the best next step for my Ram 1500? I have $2500.00 to spend & I want the most bang for the buck as far as performance. I'm not a racer, so not looking for drag strip numbers. My truck is a daily driver that i occasionally tow with. To date, I have the Stock 392's,BT catch can, 180 T-stat, Fastman TB, & Varraram. Looking to put small lift ( 4" max ) & possibly 35's on it and don't want to loose noticeable power & Torq. Would be nice if i didn't have to sacrifice too much MPG as well. I realize that everything is a trade off as a rule but your best advise would be greatly appreciated.
