$150 for a one time update

Better off putting the $150 towards a Garmin Nuvi with lifetime updates

Pretty sad when you think about it - That's your choice , and why many have probably not updated there vehicles

If it was $150 for lifetime updates , that would bee a much easier pill to swallow

I couldn't agree more, it is a complete scam that NAVTEQ and Garmin lock the map update path and force the DVD update that only they sell for 3 times the normal LIFETIME UPDATE! I had to swallow hard, I did order it, and now wonder if it is much of an update... still a lot of missing POIs and roadway changes that don't appear correctly.

At $150 for an update, if I buy another GPS, it won't be a Garmin and I've been a loyal customer of theirs for a long time. Maybe we should email/call them about this issue
