The weather techs are fully adjustable, I have mine out from the body for protection and mainly so they don't rub on the paint. Maybe you need to loosen the screws and adjust them for a better fitment?

I played with the fitment, and they look better. But after a week, I'm still annoyed with the wind noise. I'll try to post pics.

Just to resurrect this old thread, but I have the same issue with my Weathertech mud flaps. It's disappointing but I take it as the lesser of two evils.. I'd rather protect the paint even if I have to put up with a little extra noise.

Yea, I'm used to it now too. And they do a good job.

Actually, the reason I'm not bothered by wind noise from the mud flaps, is because the Goodyear Wrangler HP tires sing like mud tires.

I installed the Weather Tech flaps and I love em. The mounting hole are oval. After starting the screws, you can push the flaps flush against the fender for a nice flush fit.
Using the third mounting hole does hold the flap more securely.

I just installed the WeatherTech flaps on my 14' Sport, and they fit really good. I found that the best way to insure a tight fit, is to push the flap against the outer edge of the wheel opening (not against the face of the fender) before securing the flap. They all are parallel with the tires and 90 degrees to the fenders, except the right front (it's farther away towards the inside of the tire). I discovered that the lower part of the fender is not in line with the rocker panel and tips inward at the front: there is nothing I can do about adjustment other than bending the fender (which I wont do). Other than that annoyance, they look really good.
