Before buying the Ram I have driven GM trucks since the early 90's so it's not that I don't like them. My last one was an 05 and I like the way it looked but the 5.3 was weak even with 3:73's. The only thing that GM has done lately that I like was making the 6.2 gas engine available in the 1/2 ton trucks, other than that their trucks have been a bit boring to me.

i think they also bumped up the hp and torque for the 5.3 in the new trucks.

I didnt think they could make their trucks look any worse. I was wrong.

Anyone see the F150 thats supposed to hit the market late next year? Looks pretty nice I think. A heck of alot better than Government Motors or Toyota's offerings. I still like the Ram the best.

It runs better than I expeced, but it is fugly. I would wait a long time for a Ram. I would then wait a long time for a F-150. If both failed, I would then buy a trailer to tow behind my Jeep, before buying a GM truck.

PS. If Chrysler starts taking lessons from GM, I'm going back to an all-Ford family. I'm currently all Chrysler, but have had a mixture of the 2 most of my life.

I sat in a 2014 GMC Sierra 4x4 Texas Edition last night. It felt like they just raped the interior of a Ram. Everything is in the same spots and its basically the same configuration except for the shifter on the steering column.

I'm not impressed with the exterior either...like others have said, it's too boxy, plus they don't put big enough wheels on them. They look handicapped sitting there all sad with their big bodies and small wheels getting swallowed up by the wheel wells.
