Yea I figured I'd do the mod then see what effect it has on the flow and clean up the edges later.

Ok guys I'm debating on what intake to get. Here are the choices :

Vararam Air Grabber
AFE Stage 2
S&B

Which are you guys running and how do you like it?

I've read a lot on here about the air grabber and the s&b, haven't really seen much on the afe stage 2.

The air grabber looks great and should perform the best since it basically eliminates the tube and box from the other intakes. BUT I don't really know if I want to modify my stock shroud for it.

AFE looks pretty good as well and it has a powder coated aluminum tube. It also uses the stock lower air box.

S&B looks (and I'll probably catch a for this) like a fancy factory box with a smooth tube to me. That isn't particularly a bad thing if you're wanting to keep it looking low key when you pop the hood. This is just MY opinion from looking at it. I know that there is an option for the scoop, but I wouldn't be getting that if I chose this intake.

Now, with all that being said, these are just my observations thus far on these intakes. I have read good things on these intakes and others but these are the three I am trying to decide between. They all have their + and - . Just tell me what you like about yours and why you chose it over the others. Also keep in mind I will be getting an 87mm throttle body.

Got the tint put on it yesterday. I got all the windows done instead of just the front 2 and the eyebrow because he made me a really just deal on it.

Hey guys, just a heads up if you are wanting to get a center hump liner for a 2013 ram. Husky makes one and it looks good. I ordered one for me and one for my dad. Even though they have different ones the part number 8282 is the one to get because it fits quad/crew and regular cab trucks. don't get the regular cab mat because it won't actually fit the regular cab. Molding is off on the rear section and it will look like crap. I let my dad have mine and I'm sending back the other one and getting another crew cab mat. I'll post pics once I get it and put in the truck.

Looks good. I was considering a Vararam intake, but just decided on a drop in AEM Dryflow filter for the time being. Quite impressed thus far for a cheap and simple mod.

What kind of tonneu cover do you plan on getting?

Thanks.
I probably won't be getting a tonneau cover for it. Most of my mods are going to be on the inside and under the hood. Bedliner is about the only other thing I'll be doing to the looks as far as the exterior goes as of now....subject to change.
