Default Traction control light came on b/t shifts and shudders b/t shifts???

Yesterday I was pulling out I got on the gas pretty hard (almost to the floor) and when my truck was about to shift or during the shift I couldn't tell but the traction control light came on and it shuddered between the shifts and also could hear a noise from the engine like a "tap, tap" like something hitting? Kinda hard to explain any ideas? Almost felt like something was slipping

2012 RAM no engine mods just a 14" magnaflow
Leveled w/ 295/60/20 trail grapplers

That was the electronic stability control coming on. It cuts the ignition to the engine and applies the brake to whatever wheel is spinning..or about to spin. It's normal, they programmed it to do that so that we poor idiots do not kill ourselves.

I thought it could have been something like that, would it even do it when I was going 45? I think it was between the 2nd-3rd shift when it done it not sure though.
But the transmission feels like it shudders into gear a lot just driving around town barely on the gas, sure it's normal though

Not liking the traction control at all. Bogs down big time and almost stalls out the engine at times. I had a buddy with me once when it happened "whats wrong with this brand new POS" was his response.

Its ridiculous. I can see a little bit of safety measures in the new vehicles but when it almost disables the vehicle for a few seconds over a little bit of aggressive throttling I think they have gone WAY to far. It scares the crap out of ya too when your headed out into traffic and it happens.

Anyway to reverse the traction control button?.... Always off until pressed.
I have a BD tuner but the traction control function needs to be toggled on and off every restart to disable. Big pain.

Yeah, IMO the engineers got it backwards, you should be able to activate TC when you NEED it, not the other way around. Only time I'm thankful for TC is in the rain, otherwise it's just a nuisance. I haven't looked at the switch, but it seems to be just an interrupt circuit, so I would imagine it could be wired to work in the opposite manner, normally off. Whaddya gonna do, stupid people that don't know how to drive and need babysitters spoil it for the rest of us.
