Default Questions about new Copperhead Sport CC

Hello,

I just picked up my 2013 CC Sport, 1500, Copperhead Pearl (ordered April & received 06/14). First Dodge product for me, GM before but got tired of issues. Anyway a couple of questions:

- I have the 8 speed, 3.55 w/hemi. Very smooth but seems to short shift (rapidly shifts up through the gears after stopping at light etc). Also shifts down while coasting up to a stop light or sign. Is this normal? Obviously, I never had an 8 speed before so maybe it is.

- Is there anyway to clear the "put in park to change settings" that is constantly displayed in the EVIC? On my Tahoe's I could scroll through the settings on the fly, same for my wife's Chrysler Town & Country.

- I also take it there is no tire pressure display on the Ram?

So far I really like the truck. Hope the mileage is decent (never was on the Tahoe's) but it is a truck. Going to get busy adding some skid plates, tow hooks & cover for the box soon. Good to be back in a truck! I'll post some pics soon. Thanks for any info, don't know too much yet about Dodge products. (Oil filter looks like a real mess & pain to get off! ).

There is a tire pressure display on the EVIC. You can also scroll through the different screens while driving.

The first couple of gears are quick with the 8 speed. At least it seems that way to me, too.

It'll go up thru the first couple gears pretty quick. I noticed that on mine. As for the downshifting it seems as if it'll drop down pretty quick when I come into a stop sign/light. Almost like an engine brake.

Post pics of the tow hooks when you get them installed. I would like to see them on a sport.

I just picked mine up today too! I love it and I am sure you will too. I did notice a lot of shifting while in some stop and go traffic, but I expect that to kinda settle down as the computer learns your driving style. You could always put it in tow/haul mode.

- Where do I find the tire pressure on the EVIC? All I seem to get is the set up where I can choose what I want in the corners using the buttons on the steering wheel. Also trying to find the trip meter?

- Yes it does feel like an engine brake.

- There are some pics on here of sports and express' with the tow hooks. I think I have them book marked somewhere. I'll add the link if I can find it.

Thanks,
Klammer

I don't remember exactly which "page" it's on the EVIC but I seem to remember scrolling one click down from the speedometer page. You may then have to scroll right to see some more pages (about 4 or 5 vehicle information screens).

The Vehicle Information page is what screen you are looking for. There are 6 "dots" at the top of the EVIC when you get to that page. Scroll right and left to get more info on these pages.

Yup, you're right. I started playing with the arrow buttons and found the trip, tire pressure etc.

Thanks,

You will find the tire pressure on the page with the picture of the truck bottom. It is with the fluid temps. Just scroll with the left/right arrows.

The page with the "put in park to change settings" is only to set up the main display screen. Just scroll with the up/down arrows to find the other settings including the trip meter. I can do that on the fly so I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to.

As for the fuel economy I get 17 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.
