Default TufTruck TTC 1223

Im looking into get some rear springs for my 09 CC Sport and was looking at the TufTruck TTC 1223 (50%) increase. I dont want them to tow more I want them so there is less sag in the rear when towing. I tow anyware from 3000lb to 8000lb anyone heard of these or use them? I also am looking at the Timbren Kit as well. I have read alot of good things about the Timbren Kit. Any input would be great.

Thanks
Bryce

Thank you bstc00. I look forward to your report on these. I too have been saving for the TufTruck HD coil part #TTC1210. I have also read good results with their lowering kit from some Ram owners here who run it and like the companies history in truck springs. I will say that TufTruck recommends running your springs with a constant load for a smoother ride. But if the stiff truck ride don't bother you, then by all means, go for it. I only tow below the 8000lb mark and stay close to payload capacity with my truck but would like the added 25% increase in spring capacity that TT offers to help keep the stance level under loads. I will also be adding Bilstein HD shocks for the rear as the stock shocks have poor rebound compared to the Bilsteins. $275 bucks (125 for TTC/150 for Bilsteins)compared to 600 bucks to the Total Load Control I can afford right now.

Drove the truck this morning with the new tuftruck springs on it and would have to say it’s a little stiff. It drives like my 04 lowered srt-4 drove.

I had the TLC on the truck before these and would have to say it drives a little better then with TLC on. Don’t get me wrong I loved the TLC but don’t like the fact that the TLC is AIR.

One other thing that I like better about the tuftruck is that it doesn’t make any noise, unlike the TLC. I all ways had to have air in them otherwise it would it the bump stop and make noise.

More on how I like them after I work tomorrow. I will have a full load so we will see how well it holds up to towing. It should be somewhere around 7500lbs.

Just got back from work and let me just say the Tuftruck TTC 1223 is what the Ram 1500 should have come with from the factory. These are great.

Yes. Really easy. Just unbolt the rear struts from the axle and the springs should pop right out. Make sure you us port the exit with Jack stands
