Default Does anyone have the retrax pro on there '13?

And do you love it? I am looking at getting one and it seems like a nice cover.

Thanks for the info BB. That really sucks that your bed gets so wet. I am more worried about road noise. The roads in Wisconsin are like wash boards.

This is why I went with a Diamondback. Dry, secure (as a cover can be), and looks awesome.

problem with that is you can't have full access to the bed for large items without taking it off. and you can probably fry an egg on the the daimond plate in the summer

I had a hard cover once that took two people to take off to get full access to the bed, no way every again.

That's why I went with the BAK F1. it folds up all the way so you have full bed access. You can also fold it part way if you want.

I have come to the conclusion after many trucks and different covers that there is no perfect cover, every single one has some kind of draw back. Just have to get want can mostly meet your needs.

The diamondback I have is easy to take off - one person about 5 minutes. Loosen the 4 bolts on the mid-plate. Access to the front of the bed and to the back, separately locked. And it doesn't block the rear window. And it can't be opened with a coat hanger like most of the folding ones. And I can strap 400 lbs on top and most importantly for me, mount a couple of antennas on it.
But they make many different kinds for all preferences.

don't get me wrong, I am not knocking your choice. Like I said, if it works for you, great.

for me, I don't want to have to unbolt things and then if I am out already have a cover a have to figure out what to do with once it's off, since the bed will be full with whatever else I am hauling.

just a preference. Like I said, there is no perfect solution for every situation
