I don't live too far from there, so I am going to keep my out for a dented white Mazda Six. I sure hope the cops find him for you, because that is just brutal!

A dent is bad enough, but the whole bumper!

Oh I doubt that they were doing 10km/h.

There are a load of kids that fly through that parking lot all the time.

It has a poorly conceived enter and exit way, and people are always racing around to beat the crowd out.

No way around it that sucks dude, and now that you point out the broken plastic definitely looks like it was hit.

I don't know all the details but as mentioned pretty fishy that the witnesses knew an exact model and color of car but couldn't get a plate and if they came back to pick up debris I wold think someone would have a description of them as well since they made a big scene with the accident.

Could be missing something though.

OMG this is terrible. To take the debris that is weird. Hope they catch the SOB and you get your truck fixed up in time for our July 6 meet.

Whenever I park in a mall I try to find 2 RAMS to park between and then I hog the space between us so no one else can get in. Second choice is to just be by another RAM because I know they respect their truck and will show the same courtesy to mine. Next choice is park beside high end vehicles, sports cars, vintage muscle cars, or over in the far corner of the lot by myself. Never park beside a mini van full of kids.
But in this case when an imbecile just runs into you it wouldn't matter where you parked. And I usually take a picture of our RAM parked by the other RAM. Yesterday I didn't because the RAM on my right was really rusted but the RAM on my left was a 2013 2500 CUMMINS, really nice. Oh and by the way, the guy I work for, who has had Fords for the last 22 years just brought home a brand new 2012 2500 CUMMINS from Arthur Chryslers overstocked lot. It's his personal truck and he's away with his 30' fifth wheel this weekend. He liked our RAMS styling so well he had to have one, and it is a honey of a truck.

Just a bunch of more Ram haters that couldn't leave a great lookin truck alone. Definitely, inquire about the security camera recordings that day.

What do you mean "hog the space between us?"

If you're speaking of taking up two parking spaces, it's a prime way to get keyed.

Often this is not possible as you may be the only Ram parked in a given lot. Ram's are not dime-a-dozen in my area..... at least not ones in "decent" condition. I see many old n' beaten up ones. I would never park next to any beaten up vehicle as they have nothing to lose....

I'm an advocate of parking far away and walking the few more paces. I often park a good 200-plus feet from the entrance of a retailer and often nobody within 2-3 car spaces either side of me. Parents with small children, the elderly anmd disabled can [deservedly] have the close spots.

Plus, my fat ass needs the cardio benefits.....

What's the purpose of snapping a photo?

Terrible-sorry to see this. I always park way out and walk. The wife hates it, but parking the 2500 is a bit harder than parking a 1500. Hopefully the repairs will be pretty easy.

Anyone on the parking lot (a vendor or theater) have surveillance camera? Maybe file a police report and have them pull the video?

I question why the witness didn't get the plate number is he was so concerned.

Not even close to your mishap, but I came out of my Friday night AA meeting to go home and my helmet was gone. So there I am with no helmet and three guys standing across the street just milling about glancing over.

I figured they took the helmet thinking I'd have to leave the bike (helmet law) and when I got back and the building having been empty, the bike would be gone.

Without getting too much into detail, I got on the bike and rode it anyway (had a spare about 2 miles away where I'm working dark country roads leading out of the town). Not to get anyone going but I made the comment to them as I rode past. "If I had my truck you (explenatives) would be flat black right about now."

Hospital parking lot no less

Sorry to hear about your incident..

(* Disclaimer...I sometimes say things I shouldn't when I'm really angry and they do not have a reflection upon the race, religious orientation, gender, etc.. of the people I am angry with)

Mall in T.O are brutal.

I seen guys doing all kind of crazy things in mall parking lots. from showing off doing donuts to spinning tires. then there are people who just drive like they have to get in/out yesterday and come speeding through the lanes.

This is why many park far away where there is no one. though I have heard even those get into issues. Probably from idiots doing donuts in a clear end of the lot with you being the only one parked there.

Sorry to hear this happen. I never liked that mall way to much trouble in that area.

The guys that stopped to offer what they saw were in a gold colored Sunfire and were actually pretty cool. If only they had taken a pic or recorded the plate. But I think it happened fast and they were driving the opposite way in the lane. I think they just happened to be leaving (saw shopping bags in their car) when we were discovering the damage so they just stopped to tell us what they knew. It wasn't much but at least they stopped. So I'm grateful for that. I know it wasn't them. The paint scuffs on my truck and the old black Saturn further along were all white scuffs. Which ties in with the guys saying it was a white Mazda Six. So it would have damage on its pass side front bumper. I walked that whole mall parking lot in the vain hopes of finding it. You can't imagine how mad I was.

The OPP guy at the reporting center said that they likely won't be looking at the security footage. He said the mall security doesn't cooperate. So mall security says they only allow cops to look at the footage and the cops say they don't cooperate. Classic. So unless the insurance co pushes, they won't investigate. So irritating.
