I have to say that I was a little surprised with that as well, but not the end of the world for me.

I do like the device that you came up with though. Very cool.

Well it's early days right now, but it seems pretty good.

I went out to get something out of my truck a few minutes ago, and when I put my hand on the cover I almost burnt myself!

I'm quite shocked at how hot that sucker gets.

We have had off and on rain here over the weekend, and there was some water that got inside the bed, but I also haven't installed the drain tubes yet.

I wanted to see how much water actually got in there, before I worried about them.

Also my rear drain cups don't fit that well onto the rail system, so I see that as being a leaking point anyway.

I am going to send an email to Bak to see what they suggest, and failing that I will have to modify something to make it work better.

That's surprising that its so hot. I thought it was supposed to be cooler. Hopefully it doesn't leak to much after the tubes are in. Keep us posted.

On my 2012 sport one of the three 12V outlets is always hot. I have used it a few times to pump up my 4 wheeler tire in the garage and I didn't have the truck keys on me. I know it's not the one in the back, it's either the one in console or shallow centre armrest bin.

One of the 12v outlets got replaced with a 2.5 amp USB connector for 2013. Here is where I mounted my power center.
