I guess my apprehension is because indirectly I am part of the trades, and just want to separate my working life from my playing life.

However if all the trucks looked as sharp as your's, the I guess it wouldn't be a problem. LOL.......

THIS is what I use on my tires.

I never touch the tires. Ever. Just wash, blow dry and spray on. Often the drying process is air dry. Within seconds of application, it's completely touch-to-dry. A brilliant matte finish that has pretty decent longevity. Adam's doesn't recommend it for that use [tires] but with the aggressive sidewall on the Toyo OC MT's that I roll on, the traditional Adam's Super VRT is near impossible to apply.

I completely understand your apprehension .

Oh and don't be fooled, as clean as I try to keep it, it rarely looks like that picture. That picture was snapped shortly following a FULL - almost two day - Adam's and Zaino paint correction/detail.

Cheers.

Truck was sold today [5/19]. I got an offer I couldn't turn down. I had no more need for a pickup so I cut it loose. About to purchase a '14 Jeep SRT8 this week.

Grub out!

Default Mineral Grey Metallic Truck I have owned less than 24 hours

I Love the Reds! Sadly I live in New Mexico and the sun out here is so tough on paint! My 12 year old Dakota I am replacing was Dark Garnet. I got sooooo many compliments over the years. But boy did it look rough when I traded it in. Seems like I went a good 7 years then just overnight fade! I think the Grey is lovely and I am having a leer shell installed next week to match! So far I am impressed with this color!
