Even better! Less chrome to cover up.

Plast-Dipped sport grilles look great!! I chose to swap mine out for black honeycomb instead. But I really like how these came out!

Nice write-up and got a laugh out of it too. Have the same black Sport and that is a "TODO" on my list now. I prefer the more controlled conditions and remove the grill too...

Thanks for taking the time....
Matt

Is there a way to pry off the chrome inserts without taking the grille out? They move but I don't know where the tabs are to pry at. I have some extra carbon fiber wrap from doing the dash and I wanted to wrap the inserts too.

I think they are held on with pressure tabs. Not 100% sure. I thought of pulling them off but I didn't want to break any of them. Either way I think you would need to pull the grille off to get to the bottom ones. I wouldn't chance it.

I plasti dipped my rims and my emblems yesterday. All while only 35 degrees out. did 5 coats on the rims and 2 coats of glossifier. I am debating doing the badging or removing it altogether. I am also doing my full grill in the spring when it warms up. I am not taking anything off. Painters tape is my best friend now.

Default Dipped

Good thread. I did mine, yesterday. I still need to do the HEMI badges on the sides... ran out of time. I did the grill inserts and RAM's head, front and back. I'm pumped with how it turned out.

That's awesome! Now color match the black piece behind the Ram and it will look even more gooder!
