I Run Michelin LTX AT/2 it has a way better tread pattern design than the toyo because of its unique siping pattern and I've had them on almost 20k and they look brand new still, but i also rotate my tires every 3k miles. I drove from San Diego to Seattle in the winter season and my truck didn't slip once on ice or snow or rain. the Michelin siping goes all the way down whereas the open country tires have a 45 degree slant to them so when it wears down a few 16ths they will become rounded and the siping only goes about half way so when your half tread you have nice rounded tread trying to get grip in the rain or snow. while the Michelin will still have sharp tread to the very end

here is the Toyo Open Country AT II >> http://www.treaddepot.com/prodimg/opat2_l.jpg
