Okay, I've done some more reading and I am really starting to get concerned about glare/scatter out of the stock fog housings. Do you guys get flashed, cursed at, or the social finger often? I really don't want to blind anyone. I understand that halogen housings aren't ideal for HID but it seems like the Ram fogs may be particularly offensive when converted. Any thoughts??

Also, I made a mistake earlier. I said I was looking at the Night Vision kit from DDM but I meant from Retro Solutions.

There is a lot of scatter which is evident of street sign reflections, even high mounted street signs. But I have yet to be flashed. I made sure that my beams come straight out, so the direct beam does not blind on comers eyes.

I have 35W 6000K HID's in my fogs with no problems. Radio reception has not suffered but I am running a stock antenna so I'm not sure if a shorty makes a difference or not. I understand that some HID kits do cause RF interference.

Don't know if your still looking for info - but I have been impressed with Retro Shop so I think I am going to order from them. Lots of good info on another forum

You will be blinding other drivers- it is as simple as that. It is worse when people have "leveled" trucks. Those drivers get my high beams plus the 180w LED bar behind the grille.

Thanks for the replies. Designflaw, are you talking about Retro Shop or Retro Solutions? I have read a ton of great reviews about Retro Shop. I have a pair of TYC stock replacement heads from them myself. They sell the Morimoto Elite kit at a good price ($135 shipped). It is supposed to be one of if not the best aftermarket HID kit out there.

I have been looking at the Night Vision kit which is the middle priced kit from Retro Solutions ($93 shipped with bulb capping). They have very good reviews as well from what I have seen.

Yea Retro Shop - and I asked the guy some very basic questions or dumb if you will and he was very helpful and honest with no pressure to buy, and even talked me out of some things I could buy.
