Default New Wheels XD

So I am about to purchase new rims and tires for my recently purchased 2013 ram 1500 sport. I am looking at getting XD Rockstar rims in 20x8.5 with an offset 10. I am looking at either Nitto Terra Grappler 275/55R20 or Federal Couragia MT 33/12.5r20 or 35/12.5R20. I am on stock suspension and am not planning to lift the anytime soon. I know that the Nitto's should fit fine without any rubbing issue since they are just a hair smaller than the stock wheels but I don’t want the wheels to look to small either. Do you think I would have rubbing issues with the federal MT33/12.5r20's? I am sorry for a fairly basic question. But I have not been able to find a definite answer for stock suspension.

From what I've read the Federals actually measure smaller than what they are listed as. So even though it says 33x12.5 it is probably going to be more like 32.5x12.0. That being said you shouldn't have any issues running those with stock suspension. You definitely won't fit the 35x12.5 without a leveling kit though.

Brandonjansen- thanks for the follow up information. I was pretty sure that the 35's would not fit. I guess now i need to decide between the federal 33's and the nitto terra grapplers.

Personally I like the look of the Federal's over the Terra Grapplers. Not a fan of the Terra's at all... cant wait to see pics

I think I am going to stick with the Federals. Do you guys know the life expectancy is with the Federals?

Also just to confirm the major difference between 33/12.5r20 and the stock wheel size 275/60r20 is basically the width of the tire. The height is basically the same.

not sure on tread life. I read review after review on these tires before buying them. And they were all people just getting them. No one had run them out yet.
I personally don't think they'll last FOREVER like my bfg's did. But they seem to be wearing at a normal rate. Although I do a lot of driving, and my alignment won't stay for shit so that's not helping the issue. I think they'll be typical of any offroad tire tread life. Not great, but not horrible.
