So how'd that work out for you, roasted trans a little bird told me this morning...
Sorry for repeating myself...
You guys are just asking for trouble trying to tune out the torque management on these POS tranny's.
That's Dodge's only band-aid holding these poor things together.
I've ran my 10' Hemi HARD, Going into my 4th season at the track now
but Never on a Hemifever or White Lighting tune. Just a 93 canned Diablo tune.
Bone stock my 10' RCSB 4x4 ran mid 15's on 20's/33"rubber with 3.55's at 2500' DA,
with minor bolt on's (intake/catback/93 Diablo tune and DR's... 13.89/98 (13.4/102 DA corrected)
an MGH Transmission built for 500HP/TQ at the wheels
Goes for about $2500 c/w his custom trans tuning.
I wont even install my Ripp until I get his built trans that can take the power.
He charged me $500 for one of his cores that's on the bench being torn down right now.
and he also ordered me a triple disc ATS 3k stall at his cost because he has big plans in the works tuning it to lock it up under WOT in 2nd gear.
The stock pump can make, 185psi. I modify the pump and valve body to make 225psi, and my tune controls the tran to use all that pressure. I also machine parts to add clutches for more friction area. Stock 2C has 2 clutches and 2 steels, I install 4 clutches and 4 steels. Stock Overdrive has 5 double sided clutches and 4 steels, I install 14 single sided clutches. Stock Underdrive has 4 double sided clutches and 4 steels, I install 12 single sided clutches.
Anyone who races should have a transmission back-up plan
If you've been warned and still don't care, I'm sorry but I Will laugh at you when you break your shit
