Make sure the joint is all loose and free when you have installed all your circlips. if you have to spread the yokes a coupla thousandths, to get it all free and loose, do it, cuz any tightness will show in a hard turn, when that joint is really getting flogged. The brake shield may take quite a beating removing the bearing, but you can generally fix it. I have an air chisel with a custom ground 'chisel' which works great for popping the bearing out of its' close tolerance little home, just keep working around it, it'll come, but leave the screwdrivers in the toolbox, temptation will get the better of you, and you'll be snapping the ends off! Good luck!
In my case, there were no standard sockets available, so I bought a 43mm impact socket from carquest for $24. It was the only 6pt socket available...

Darrenwood128 is on a distinguished road

Thanks, everyone... did them both and it was straight forward. Took a piece of highway sign metal post and braced it up to the hub bolts and cut the wheel and got the bearing half out... then it just pulled out. Turns out the previous owner must have replaced both hubs not to long ago as well as the brakes!!! To bad I have to sell it!!!
