Default Resetting 2012 RAM1500 Computer

Problem was that the EMI light was on steady, and the ECO did not work.
To reset;
Depress and hold gas pedal all the way down
Depress and hold reset switch on steering all the way
Turn on key but DO NOT START until all the lights on the dash light up, there are lots
While keeping the reset switch and gas pedal fully depressed wait for the reset procedure to go through its sequence. This you can tell by watching the rpm and speedometer needles going fully clockwise then slowly incrementing back to zero, as well all the indicators on the dash slowly turning out.
Once done then turn key off, waited a minute then my operation returned to normal. No more steady EMI light, as well the ECO worked again.

The switch referred to is the one on the steering wheel used to reset the trip odometer(s) to zero.
